The 2023 Australian Kookaburra 1/10oz Platinum Bullion Coin features the latest kookaburra design and is the first release of its kind from The Perth Mint.

Struck from 99.95% pure platinum, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. No more than 15,000 Australian Kookaburra 2023 1/10oz Platinum Bullion Coins will be released.

Orders of 20 coins will be delivered in the Mint Sealed Plastic roll with Mint Mark.

Description

The coin’s reverse portrays a kookaburra sitting on a branch of a gum tree with leaves and seedpods. Also included in the design is the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA’, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the 2023 year and the weight and purity.

The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
